Therefore, start your standard dialer app and enter the appropriate number sequence manually. - These codes should be used with caution. Some of the codes just show information, but some of them can make your phone lose data, or render it unusable. There's a lot of tech jargon which pops up in the menus after entering some of these codes. If you aren't 100% sure what you're doing, don't do it. Notes: - Some items will not be updated automatically - If no information is available for an item it will be hidden or an according message will be shown - The number of available items depends on the operating system version 1.2. HOW TO USE ----------------------------------------------- a. Install PhoNetInfo through the Google play store and start the application by clicking the PhoNetInfo icon. b. KNOWN ISSUES/Q&A's 3.1 Error "FAILED TO SAVE DOCUMENT" ----------------------------------------------- - Issue: When trying to export data to a file, the error message "Failed to save document" appears. - Affected devices: API level 19 [Kitkat] - 22 [Lollipop] - Solution: Shorten the file name and/or remove any special characters such as "-", ":", "$", etc. Then try to save the file again. 3.2 Secret codes not working ----------------------------------------------- - Issue: PhoNetInfo displays secret codes that do not work on my mobile phone. - Affected devices: n.a. - Solution: Not all secret codes that appear in PhoNetInfo are functional. Some codes only affect certain mobile operators, phone versions, countries, etc. 3.3 Some items show no data ----------------------------------------------- - Issue: Some items do not show any data but just "Not available". - Affected devices: n.a. - Solution: This means that your mobile phone and/or operating system does not support the respective feature or that the feature might just be available if your mobile phone is rooted. ================================================================================ 4.
